Gram’s Meaty Spareribs

Ingredients

  • Country-style pork ribs

  • 1 large onion, sliced in rings

  • 1/2 cup ketchup

  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce

  • 1/8 tsp chili powder

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 tsp mustard

  • 1 tbs brown sugar

Directions

  • Place the pork ribs in the bottom of a 9x13 pan or a large cast iron skillet.

  • Cover with a layer of sliced onion.

  • Mix together the remaining ingredients to make a sauce.

  • Pour BBQ sauce over the top.

  • Cover with tin foil.

  • Bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.

  • Uncover for the last 1/2 hour.
