About Anna

I don’t actually love cooking.
But the people in my life insist on eating… several times a day.

So here we are.

I’m Anna — a self-proclaimed hot mess who believes you can never have too much cheese or chocolate, and that dinner doesn’t have to be complicated to matter.

I help people who feel exactly like I do:
You don’t love cooking… but you care deeply about feeding the people you love. You want it to feel easier, less overwhelming, and maybe even a little fun again.

Because dinner shouldn’t feel like a daily mental marathon.

My People

Most of the women I connect with are juggling life, family, work, aging parents, budgets, energy levels, and the never-ending question of “what’s for dinner?”

They’re:

  • tired of planning

  • burned out from decision fatigue

  • bored with the same meals

  • guilty when they order takeout

  • not interested in complicated recipes

  • craving simple ideas that actually work

And more than anything — they want to feel proud again of feeding their families.

Not impressive.
Not gourmet.
Just confident and capable.

What I Believe about Cooking

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard or overwhelming to be meaningful.

Dinner still counts when:

  • it’s simple

  • it’s balanced

  • it came together with shortcuts

  • you pivoted, substituted, and winged it a little

You’re allowed to make it easier.

Food is connection.
Food is memory.
Food is showing up for the people you love — even if it’s pizza night.

How This All Started

I started my Pampered Chef business when my oldest daughter was born.

I had left my full-time job to be home with her. My husband Matt was a police officer, and we quickly realized we needed extra income — but I also needed flexibility.

So I started sharing tools and ideas with friends.

And here’s the funny part…

I didn’t love cooking.

But I knew how to.

And the right tools made it feel less like a chore and more like something I could actually manage — and sometimes even enjoy.

Plus? I loved getting paid for what basically felt like my social life.

Over time, that “little side thing” became a community. Then a team. Then a career.

What I’m most proud of isn’t sales.

It’s the incredible group of women, hosts, and customers who’ve built something meaningful alongside me.

Real Life Behind the Scenes

I’m married to Matt — we met when I was 16.

We’ve lived a lot of life together:
Maryland → Virginia → Maine for 26 years → and now Texas, where we landed after Matt retired and our youngest graduated.

We have two daughters, Emma and Grace.

And our house?
It’s chaos in the best way.

We have four dogs of our own — all a little special needs — and we foster regularly, which means there are usually five (or more) underfoot at any given time.

If I trip in the kitchen, odds are it’s over a dog.

I’d eat sushi three meals a day if I could.
And I will never turn down anything related to cheeseburgers or pizza.

The beach grounds me.
Connection fuels me.
And helping women feel capable again in their kitchens lights me up.

What I Actually Do

I’m not a chef.

I’m not a perfectionist.

I’m not making everything from scratch.

I’m a kitchen cheerleader and simplifier.

I share:

  • realistic recipes

  • trusted tools

  • shortcuts that make sense

  • encouragement without pressure

  • ideas that stretch budgets and save sanity

So dinner feels doable again.

If You’re Here…

You don’t have to love cooking.

You just have to care about the people around your table.

If you’re looking for:

  • easier meal ideas

  • inspiration without overwhelm

  • a supportive community

  • a way to bring fun back into the kitchen

  • or even a flexible opportunity to build something of your own

You’re in the right place.

Welcome in. I’m really glad you’re here.
